What recommendations or best practices do you have for incorporating student work in my OER?

I'd like to include student-created examples, writing, or other contributions in my OER. Can I do this?

Answer

You are welcome to incorporate student work into your OER, but you'll need to obtain permission from them to do so.

We have a form template that we can use to document this permission, which we can send directly to your student(s) via Adobe Sign. A copy is attached here just for reference as you talk to your students about the process.

Please connect with a Librarian or reach out to library@westerntc.edu and we'll talk specifics.
