What's an Open Educational Resource (OER)?

Answer

Open Educational Resources (OER) are teaching and learning materials (such as textbooks) for which copyright restrictions are minimized through use of a open copyright license. This means that the materials are freely available in online format and generally low cost in printed formats.

You can find more information about open educational resources on our OER guide or by contacting your librarians.
